Allianz Travel Insurance starts from S$28 and comes in Bronze, Silver, and Platinum plans. These are ideal for travellers looking for high medical coverage and ease of mind.

If you purchase the Platinum plan and contract COVID-19 abroad, you’ll have up to S$1 million coverage for your emergency medical and dental expenses (for ages 69 years and below). This is the highest coverage in the list thus far. There’s also unlimited coverage for emergency transportation, if needed.

On top of that, Allianz travel insurance ranks highest in terms of coverage for trip amendments. Any trip cancellations or interruptions due to COVID-19 will get you a reimbursement of up to S$15,000 for the highest tier plan, while trip delays of at least six hours will get you up to S$2,000 with a daily limit of up to S$400.

The drawbacks are that you won’t have access to any hospitalisation or quarantine allowance, while the high coverage comes at a hefty price of S$64 onwards.
